As "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" makes a play for a megashare of the pre-summer box office, the stakes were nearly as high during a recent video-game tournament in the Bush Campus Center TV room.

The Office of Student Engagement compiled a Mario Kart bracket pitting players against each other in a two-out-of-three competition for the ultimate bragging rights and a blue shell lamp for first place. There were medals for the top three (and last-place) finishers, not to mention a lot of (somewhat) serious fun.
