The Dunham Children's Learning Center observed the Week of the Young Child earlier this month, a celebration of youngsters and staff alike ... and a shared enjoyment of some yummy treats.
During a "Tasty Tuesday" activity, the Birds made butter while learning about healthy foods fresh from the farm. With only two ingredients (heavy cream and salt) in a sealed container, and some vigorous shaking set to music, the children produced a homemade spread for their bread.
In another part of the Penn College child care facility, the Busy Bees experienced a hands-on version of "Taco Tuesday" that combined dexterity with a big batch of delicious!
There's a whole lot of shakin' goin' on, whether opting for the one-hand method ...
... or the two-handed technique.
The result is simply astounding!
With their mouths full of buttery goodness, this table lets its collective thumbs do the talking.
