Upcoming Lecture Recalls Summer Visit to Yucatan

In advance of Monday's campus appearance by Edwin Barnhart, director of the Maya Exploration Center, the International Programs Office has shared an article about the Yucatan travels of Curt VanderVere, assistant professor of mathematics, and Steve Eckman, an information technology: security specialist student. The two met Barnhart, who will speak about the Maya calendar at 7 p.m. in the Klump Academic Center Auditorium during the July visit in pursuit of archeoastronomical research.
