Chef Suzann L.Major, assistant professor of food and hospitality management/culinary arts, and Culinary Arts student Christine L. Faherty of Wantage, N.J., attracted a large crowd recently for a presentation of"Tasty Salads and Dressings" to residents in the First-Year Experience Program at Rose Street Apartments.
Major is a mentor for the program. For her presentation in the courtyard, she showed students how to make taco, chef and Caesar salads.
Major also was available to the FYE students on the opening day of the semester, and she will return to theresidence hallto present two more programs and attend Resident Assistant programs.
