A Pillar Society member with a deep passion for education and the opportunities it creates to fulfill one’s life ambitions and dreams, Terry is empowering future generations. He contributes to the John J. Messer Memorial Scholarship in honor of his son.
I was the first in my family to achieve a college education. Ever since, I have supported the education of my children, grandchildren, and one day, my great-grandchildren. My son John, a former professor at PCT, also embraced higher education, as did his friends and associates who, recognizing his devotion, initiated the scholarship in his memory.
The John J. Messer Memorial Scholarship helps make it possible for students to fulfill their life’s ambition and dream, which was so important to John. He often counseled students who were not applying themselves by giving them a second or even a third chance. He was very compassionate to those that sincerely demonstrated a desire to improve.
Penn College is a wonderful advanced educational institution offering alternative opportunities for career development. Students may pursue a curriculum ranging from a one-year certification to a full four-year degree. I have personally observed PCT in action. The result is an impressive +95% job placement, which demonstrations the effectiveness of the education process and its economic value.
Education is a powerful tool to achieve lifetime satisfaction and happiness. Devotion to preparing one’s self for a gratifying career in society is a major step toward fulfilling those objectives.
