Q&A with Michael

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE RADIOGRAPHY?

I have always loved to ride motorcycles. While learning to do different tricks, I have broken a lot of bones. I would always have to get X-rays done and was fascinated by how the X-ray can see inside of my body.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO COME TO PENN COLLEGE?

I made this move for better job opportunities and to build a better life.

IF AN ADULT FRIEND WAS CONSIDERING COLLEGE, WHAT MIGHT YOU SAY?

I would say definitely to do it. You can never be too old to learn new things and improve your life. It was one of the best decisions I have made.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT THE RADIOGRAPHY PROGRAM AT PENN COLLEGE?

The clinical experience for me was the best. Being able to work with patients and also being able to put classroom teaching to practical use went hand in hand for me.

APART FROM YOUR COURSES, WHAT ELSE MADE YOUR TIME AT PENN COLLEGE SPECIAL?

The comaraderie of my fellow classmates is amazing. Everyone has a positive attitude. It is a real positive atmosphere.

WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO DO AFTER GRADUATION?

After graduation, I will pass my board exam to be a radiographer. Then I will get a job and study other imaging modalities such as CT and MRI.

Student Experience

"Penn College challenged me to grow by teaching me better time management and organizational skills and by pushing me to do better in every aspect of the program."
