  • Daniel Wood III, 1972

    business management

    Daniel retired as a service technician for Verizon. Outside of work, he was a baseball coach and assistant scout master. He was mason and a strutter for the Zafar Grotto and Irem Shrine string bands. He remains involved in Masons, Irem Shrine and Boy Scouts. “Penn College has seen many fantastic changes since I was there,” he said. “I stayed in the Hoover Dorms, which was three mansions on Campbell Street, between Third and Fourth streets. There were 120 men staying there. … To all the students that are there now: Enjoy your stay at Penn College and have a GREAT year!” He resides in Brownsville.

    Jillian married Jim Cummings in June 2016. She is a lead teacher at KinderCare Learning Center. They reside in Brackenridge.

    Tracy retired from PennDOT as a draftsman designer. "After retirement in 2007, I wanted some formal education in a field I enjoy, so I enrolled in the professional cooking course in Fall 2012. ... I enjoyed the whole process!" he said. "When the golden glitter of the retirement ladder has worn off, (Penn College) has many opportunities for the retired sector to enjoy." He resides in Williamsport.
