    aviation maintenance technology

    Christopher is OEM sales manager for Lycoming Engines. He received the Penn College Alumni of the Year Award at the 2020 Education Celebration hosted by the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the college’s Aviation Technology Advisory Committee and Foundation Board of Directors. He and wife, Nicole (Vollman), ’09, graphic design, reside in Montoursville.

    Jonathan is director of purchasing for Dan Ryan Builders. He resides in Cranberry Township.

    Reilly is a heavy equipment operator for Lyons & Hohl Site Contractors. He resides in Pottstown.

  • Aaron McCoppin, 2006

    information technology: network specialist

    Aaron is a senior network engineer for Charles River Associates. He resides in Framingham, Mass.

  • Delroy (Butch) Seip Jr., 1983

    machine tool technology

    Butch is a senior engineering technician for Teleflex, a provider of specialty medical devices, and is a PIAA and NCAA men’s lacrosse official. He resides in Schnecksville.

    diesel technology

    Jack is a diesel technology instructor for SUN Area Technical Institute. He resides in Milton.

  • Toncia Plocinski, 2016

    nursing

    Toncia and her husband, Cory Chilson, ’12, collision repair technology, welcomed a daughter in May 2019. Toncia is an RN in the inpatient behavioral health unit at UPMC Williamsport Divine Providence Campus. They reside in Williamsport.

  • Jessica (Larson) Lehman, 2017

    physician assistant; and ’09, business administration: marketing

    Jessica and her husband, Harry Lehman IV, ’09, welding technology, welcomed daughter, Vivian, in December 2019. Jessica is a PA for MedExpress Urgent Care. They reside in Dover, Del.

  • Gerald Alkire, 1960

    electronics technology

    Gerald retired from Westinghouse Electric Co. as a senior engineer. He held many engineering positions at Westinghouse, including design engineer for large turbine generator components. He developed five patents for the company. After retiring from Westinghouse, he was a consulting engineer for Siemens Corp. for 20 years and finally stopped working in 2018. He earned a bachelor’s in engineering from University of Pittsburgh in 1974. He has been married for 58 years and resides in Winter Garden, Fla.

  • Dan Gongloff, 2009

    plastics and polymer technology; and ’08, computer aided product design

    Dan is director of product development for DiamondBack Automotive Accessories. He holds multiple patents and resides in Ashville.

  • Alex Piper, 2007

    computer information technology: data communications and networking

    Alex is an IT program manager for Defense Logistics Agency, responsible for leading software development and other IT-related projects for the agency’s enterprise business system. He resides in Mechanicsburg.

  • Ashley Baker, 2014

    heavy construction equipment technology: operator; and ’12, welding technology

    Ashley is a service technician for UGI and is pursuing an emergency medical technician certificate through Workforce Development at Penn College. She resides in South Williamsport.

  • Shawn Young, 1993

    aviation technology

    Shawn is general manager of East Coast Propeller Service Inc., an FAA-certified repair station specializing in aircraft propeller overhaul and repair. He resides in Elizabethtown.

  • Andrew Klein, 1992

    toolmaking technology and automated manufacturing technology

    Andrew is a teacher at Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center, where he teaches manual and CNC machining skills, precision measurement, heat treating, CAD/CAM and additive manufacturing. He holds a master's degree in education and bachelor's degree in business administration, and authored NIMS Level 1 Study Guide, published by Cengage in 2017. He resides in Reading.

  • Catherine (Dershem) Farr, 1995

    computer information systems

    Catherine is a criminal justice instructor for Lycoming Career & Technology Center. She resides in Trout Run.

  • Sabrina (Lowman) Slimmer, 2001

    physical fitness specialist

    Sabrina is a children's pastor for Keymar Evangelical Wesleyan Church. She and husband, Shaun Slimmer, '02, computer-aided product and systems design, reside in Keymar, Md. Shaun is a technical sales manager for Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, where he began working just out of college and was promoted three times in his first year to engineer. After working for companies in Kansas and Florida, he returned to the company. Sabrina and Shaun were married in Williamsport during Spring Break 2002.

    Zack is a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He resides in Columbia with his wife and two children.

    Andrea Whitley, 2016

    Surgical Technology

    Andrea is a certified surgical technology/ophthalmic technician for Progressive Vision Institute, where she assists with retina, cataract and oculoplastic surgeries. She has served as a guest speaker for the college’s surgical technology program. She resides in Summit Hill and is engaged to marry Mitchell Aponick, ’18, residential construction technology and management, later this year.

  • Todd Fetzer, 1999

    Broadcast Communications

    Todd is the Golf Pro Shop manager at Fairview Golf Course in Lebanon and is a part-time on-air radio DJ/talent for Fun 101.3 FM in Lancaster. He resides in Lebanon.

  • Jeff Bilansky, 2002

    computer information technology: data communications and networking

    Jeff works in IT policy and planning for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, directing the 47 agencies under the governor’s jurisdiction in deployment of technology and ensuring that critical government services continue during emergencies. In addition, he recently started his own retail business. He resides in Minersville.

    health information management

    Brittany is a quality coding & documentation educator for Geisinger Health Plan. She and husband, Ryan, ’12, civil engineering technology, welcomed son, Connor Lee, on Nov. 24, 2019. They reside in Williamsport.

  • Randy McCauley, 1987

    diesel mechanics

    Randy is the county equipment manager for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, making sure mechanics and equipment are ready for winter and summer road work. He enlisted in the Army as a wheeled-vehicle mechanic for four years, then joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, retiring with 23 years of service. He has worked for PennDOT for 25 years and been married for 27 years. He has three sons and resides in Muncy.

    Max is an operator/carpenter for Melhorn Builders Inc. He married Caitlyn Chute in October 2019 and recently bought a new house. They reside in Chambersburg.

    Shannon is program manager, physician recruitment and retention, for Guthrie Medical Group. She resides in Milan, Pa.

    Ryan is an electrician for Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Blairsville.

    Jaclyn is a rebate analyst for Bausch Health. She married Joseph Barros, ’09, automotive technology management, on Nov. 16, 2019. They reside in Fords, N.J.

    Ainsley is a senior designer for Equator. She resides in Cincinnati and is engaged to get married in June.

    Trevor is an applications development engineer for DSM Engineering Materials. He resides in Redwood City, Calif.
