    Michelle is a social development director for the U.S. Department of Labor's Keystone Job Corps Center, where she provides oversight to the counseling, residential living, recreation, student government, transportation and security departments. She resides in Watsontown.

She is a 2023 recipient of St. Luke's Night of Heroes trauma award. She also holds a bachelor's in applied health studies from Penn College (2010). She resides in Northampton.

    Christopher, a member of the Wildcat Athletics Hall of Fame for his Penn College soccer career, is a construction manager for Toll Brothers. He and his wife, Jade (Rhody) '17, business administration: marketing, are expecting a child on April 30. They reside in Doylestown.

    Amanda married Steven Birkmire '16, heating, ventilation & air conditioning technology, on Sept. 3, 2023. Amanda works as a dental hygienist in Bensalem, and Steven is a pipe fitter for Amtrak in Bear, Del. They reside in Croydon.

    aviation technology and technology management

    Ryan is an aviation accident investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board. Responsible for investigating the probable cause of general aviation aircraft accidents, he is one of 15 on the East Coast who respond to aircraft accidents as the investigator in charge.. They handle all fatal/serious injury and substantial-damage events. Aircraft can range from hot air balloons to private jets. He holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and a Master of Business Administration, both from Embry-Riddle. He resides in Mifflinburg.

    Katrina is an assistant food service administrator for the Bureau of Prisons. She was named Correctional Worker of the Quarter and resides in Montoursville.

    heating, ventilation & air conditioning design technology

    Michael is a plumbing engineer for James Posey Associates. He designs commercial and institutional plumbing infrastructure and oversees installation. He resides in Owings Mills, Md.

  • J. Michael Wilkins, 1980

    general studies

    Michael's family reports that he died on Aug. 11, 2023, at the age of 69. He was a licensed professional counselor at Glade Run Lutheran Services in Zelienople. He resided in New Castle.

    Amanda is a head architectural technician and project manager for JENA Engineering. She married Eli Zimmerman on June 3, 2023. They recently bought a home in Macungie.

    business management and accounting

    Ernest is retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (then the Department Public Welfare) and served in the U.S. Air Force and Army Reserves. He resides in New Berlin.

    Ryan is a technical service process engineer for Solvay-Cytec Group. He married Izabel Ramer '21, business management, on Oct. 14, 2023. They reside in Ridgefield, Conn.

    April is a resource intensive care RN for UPMC Williamsport. She holds Critical Care Registered Nurse certification. She resides in Milton and welcomed her second son, Pierce, in February 2023. He joins brother, Griffin.

  • Clayton Gummo, 2016

    electrical occupations

    Clayton is a maintenance supervisor, overseeing maintenance and facilities needs across Texas A&M University athletics and recreation facilities. He supervises a crew of 25 tradesmen and maintenance technicians to perform over $4 million in maintenance. He is employed by SSC Services for Education. He received a Texas A&M Athletic Department award for service and dedication to the department. After his Penn College graduation, he worked as an electrical contractor and general contractor. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in sports management from Lock Haven University. He also worked in grounds maintenance for Penn State Athletics, as well as with NFL and NCAA championships. He resides in College Station, Texas.

    Nathan is an application engineer for ESAB Welding and Cutting. He runs the day-to-day operations of the application engineering lab in Hanover, developing procedures for end users. He is married, has two children and resides in Parkton, Md.

    Nick is a reentry coordinator for GEO Reentry Services. He meets with individuals facing incarceration and helps to set them up with resources and appointments for a successful transition back into the community. He resides in Williamsport.
