The GIANT Company first connected with Penn College when GIANT's HR team reached out.
Through a partnership with Penn College, The GIANT Company has the unique opportunity to invest in the lives of students throughout our various operating markets. GIANT is a multifaceted organization with roles in all areas such as store operations (bakery, meat, seafood, deli, and management) and the support office (marketing, human resources, ecommerce growth, etc.). We seek to provide opportunities to students whether through part-time employment, internships or opportunities post grad for them to continue to grow their skills, all the while, giving back to their communities. Penn College produces highly qualified, community oriented, and growth focused individuals and The GIANT Company wants to continue to help them grow.
When having conversations with any students, we first and foremost look to see if they would be a great cultural fit. At GIANT, our values are care, humor, courage, teamwork, and integrity. While friendly faculty and staff welcomed visitors to the 108th Pennsylvania Farm Show through varied activities at the Penn College booth in the Giant Expo Hall, students and chefs from the School of Business, Arts & Sciences joined celebrities and alumni alike on the always-busy Pennsylvania Preferred Culinary Connection stage.
