Since Mr. Hershey owned not only the chocolate factory, but also many of the town's utilities and businesses, he decided to separate the chocolate manufacturing operations from his other ventures in 1927. All of these non-chocolate producing divisions were placed under the name Hershey Estates. Today, we are known as Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company.

In 1909, decades before his death, Milton S. Hershey famously gave away his entire chocolate company holdings to found the Hershey Industrial School, known today as Milton Hershey School (MHS). Milton Hershey School is one of the world’s best private schools, where qualifying students in pre-K through 12th grade live on campus and receive an exceptional educational experience—with all costs covered.
Through attendance at various college recruitment fairs and events. We've also hired several students into our Culinary/Baking & Pastry Internship Programs.
We have historically hired several full-time team members into professional culinary roles and have continuously been impressed by the skills and experiences graduates bring to our kitchens.
