The DTAC mission is to serve children, adolescents, and their families in a stable and safe environment where one’s potential, personal strengths, and relationships are the basis for life-long change and self-sufficiency.
DTAC strives to be the premier provider and leading innovator of child and adolescent mental health treatment through assessing community needs, allowing them to grow and evolve with the changing demands of the individuals they serve. Through integrity, kindness, empowerment, and respect, they are changing the lives of individuals in the community.

DTAC provides services for clients at risk and with mental health issues, including those involved in the behavioral health, child welfare or juvenile justice systems. Across a variety of residential and outpatient treatment programs, our clients include children and adolescents from ages 3-21. Providing a range of services and programs allows us to serve more youth in our communities and across Pennsylvania and Delaware. According to the World Health Organization, mental health issues affect nearly one in six adolescents. Without treatment, these issues can continue into adulthood. Our residential and outpatient treatment programs can help children and adolescents grow up to become productive, responsible individuals.

About 75 students and 15 employers attended a highly-successful Human Services & Restorative Justice Internship and Job Expo, held this past week at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Students are finishing the fifth week of classes already, and Career Services has marked each of those weeks on a calendar overflowing with networking opportunities for students and alumni.
