Amerikohl Mining, Inc. is one of the top surface-mining coal producers in Pennsylvania. Their principal business is the mining and preparation of steam coal sold to electric utilities. Additionally, their affiliate company Amerikohl Aggregates, produces state-approved limestone from various quarries throughout western Pennsylvania that is utilized in the construction of roads, bridges, gas drilling platforms, water lines, and many other infrastructure projects.
