2025-26 RTSS Awards
RTSS annual awards for 2025-26 range from $500 to $2,500. There’s no separate application to be considered for the RTSS. Simply complete your FAFSA and PA State Grant Form as early as possible in the current year and you are potentially eligible. PHEAA administers this program for Pennsylvania residents and makes award determinations.
Fall 2025 RTSS disbursements were delayed due to the late signing of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (state) budget and should happen early in 2026.
Eligibility
Eligibility requirements for 2025-26 are similar to PA State Grants, with a few significant exceptions:
- RTSS is not for first-year students; you must have earned at least 24 college credits
- Remedial or developmental credits cannot be considered toward the 24 credit minimum
- Your college grade-point average (GPA) must be 2.50 or higher
- Your family income must not exceed $200,000
