PA Ready to Succeed Scholarship (RTSS)

2026-27 RTSS Awards

RTSS annual awards for 2026-27 range from $1,500 to $3,000. There’s no separate application to be considered for the RTSS. Simply complete your FAFSA and PA State Grant Form as early as possible in the current year and you are potentially eligible. PHEAA administers this program for Pennsylvania residents who have earned at least 24 college credits and makes award determinations.

Fall 2026 RTSS disbursements should begin late in Fall 2026 semester. 

Eligibility

Eligibility requirements for 2026-27 are similar to PA State Grant requirements, with a few significant exceptions:

  • RTSS is not for first-year students; you must have earned at least 24 college credits
  • Remedial or developmental credits cannot be considered toward the 24 credit minimum
  • Your college grade-point average (GPA) must be 2.50 or higher
  • Your family income must not exceed $208,000
