Loan Periods

In order to check out library resources, you must complete a member registration form. Please allow 48 hours during normal business days for the processing of membership applications. The library may at times give priority service to College-affiliated users and may limit visitors' access to selected facilities, collections, and services. Periodicals in print, reference, and most reserve items do not circulate.

Members may check out a maximum of 3 items to their library account.

Overdue, Lost, or Damaged Resources/Equipment

Items charged to the member’s account that are overdue are subject to fines of $1.00 per day per item. Member will be billed for the replacement cost for each item not returned after 30 days plus a $15 processing fee in addition to the overdue fines accrued for each item.

Additional Resources for Members and Visitors

Members and visitors are welcome to use the library's collections for research and study purposes. These resources include collections housed in the library stacks, government documents, reference collections, current periodicals and newspapers (except those held in Reserves). The online catalog is available without restriction to the public. Please note that borrowing items from other libraries is available through your local public library. The library sponsors many events throughout the year and visitors are always welcome to attend presentations which are open to the general public.

Children in the Library

The library supports open access to the Internet and there may be materials inappropriate for young children found in print and electronic collections. For this reason, children 14 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult while in the library.

Children should never be left unsupervised. Parents are responsible for children's behavior and use of the library materials including access to electronic resources.
