Thirteen students, joined by three faculty members, an assistant dean and two alumni, just wrapped up an impactful four days at World of Concrete, an international trade show that encompasses 700,000 square feet inside and outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. Among highlights, faculty members Franklin H. Reber, instructor of building construction technology, and Joe F. DiBucci, instructor of building construction technology: concrete and masonry, were interviewed on the Coatings Coffee Shop sound stage.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s graphic design program has collaborated with the city on a project that explored ways to encourage more people to visit, work and play in and around the Williamsport area. Eighteen graphic design students in the branding class of Nicholas L. Stephenson, instructor of graphic design and co-department head, and Todd True, part-time instructor of graphic design, took on the project of designing brand elements that portray Williamsport as the vibrant arts community it is.
The women’s basketball team posted a 2-0 week, allowing it to move into sole possession of second place in the United East Conference standings. Also, archery season gets underway Saturday, and the athletics department is accepting registrations for its eighth annual Girls and Women in Sports Day Clinic, set for Feb. 8.
