Verification provides proof of enrollment, student status, and graduation and is usually requested by a student's financial lender, insurance company, or sponsor. This service is provided free of charge.
The directory information provided through an enrollment/degree verification is released in compliance with the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA)*. The released information does not include specific course information, grades, or GPA, as would be found on an official transcript. PCT ID and Social Security numbers are NOT included.
*Students can request that directory information not be released. See FERPA Directory Information for details.
Current or Former Students
Current or former students (enrolled from 1981 through today) may request a verification of enrollment or degree through the SIS.
- Log in to the Student Information System (SIS).
- Under Academic Information, select "Request Verification of Enrollment/Degree."
- Complete the information required and select "Submit."
Processing may take 2-3 business days to complete (or longer during peak times of the semester). You may return to SIS to review current and previous requests. The following information will be provided:
- Current enrolled degree
- Enrollment status
- Expected date of graduation
- Date(s) of attendance – past, current, future
- Date of birth (month and day)
- Degree(s) conferred
- Home address
- Good standing statement
The Registrar's Office will not complete agency-supplied verification forms. Rather, the official verification statement will be attached to the agency-supplied form.
Students enrolled prior to 1981 or who do not have SIS account login information can submit a request by doing one of the following:
- Use the alternative Instant Verification of Enrollment/Degree system.
- Complete and mail or fax the Verification of Enrollment/Degree form.
National Student Clearinghouse is authorized to provide official verifications of student enrollment and degrees. Please note that the College sends enrollment and degree data to the Clearinghouse on a periodic basis throughout and at the conclusion of each semester; however, it is possible that very recent changes in status or degree may not immediately be reflected in Clearinghouse verifications.
