Pennsylvania College of Technology added to its storied history in Baja SAE competitions with a ninth-place showing out of 84 schools in the recent endurance race at Mechanicsville, Maryland. The clutch performance at Baja SAE Maryland represents the 16th time Penn College has recorded a top-10 finish in the endurance competition since 2011.
Paving a pathway to a career in the manufacturing sector, the Advanced Manufacturing Pre-Apprenticeship program, coordinated by Workforce Development at Penn College, recently graduated another cohort of high school students from across Pennsylvania. About 100 visitors savored an afternoon of artistic exchange in The Gallery at Penn College, as the summer exhibition reception celebrated “Five Artists: Explorations and Conversation.” Gallery Director Penny Griffin Lutz, said, “Visitors enjoyed the gallery talk offered by the five artists on Sunday; they discussed techniques, studio practices, the medium of fiber and the special bond they have forged as a critique group."
