Over 30 Penn College engineering design technology students recently connected their classroom experience with real-world applications by touring High Steel Structures LLC in Williamsport. The company is a leading steel fabricator of bridge components and heavy building girders.

On Oct. 8, 19 Pennsylvania College of Technology landscape/plant production technology students took a trip to Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, where they met with several graduates and toured the facility.

Alumni of Penn College and its predecessor institutions cruised the sun-dappled Susquehanna on the Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat on Friday during an event hosted by Alumni Relations.

Penn College’s Summer 2025 Commencement, held Saturday at the Journey Bank Community Arts Center, welcomed the college’s newest graduates. The student speaker was Whendy E. Marshall-Magallon, of York, who received a combined Bachelor/Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies.

Alumni from the surgical technology program recently returned to campus to reunite and reminisce. Sixteen alumni, who graduated between 1987 and 2024, attended the reunion, which included a tour of the program’s labs.

Beginning this week, the capstone beer of a May brewing & fermentation science grad is on tap at Jackass Brewing Co.’s two locations (Williamsport and Lewisburg). Adrien Duran, of Lewisburg, became the company’s first and only intern this spring as part of his brewing & fermentation science studies at the college.
