Let the Games – and Summer Hours – Begin!

A rainy forecast moved much of the event inside, but a fair amount of sun still lighted the way to check-in and the canned-food collection bins. Employees enjoy a catered lunchAttendees received raffle tickets for a tempting selection of giveaways ... with additional entries awarded for donations to the campus food pantry.Campus Quizzo was among the entertainment under roof ...... while spirited games of cornhole sprang up from the Field House lawn.For the fifth year, the campus family ended the first Friday of summer hours with an Employee/Retiree Picnic in and around the Field House. The 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. gathering featured lunch from Mel's Deli & Café in Montoursville, a variety of indoor and outdoor diversions, and the opportunity for leisurely conversation after another hectic academic year. Nonperishables were again collected to support The Cupboard, which assists Penn College students experiencing food insecurity.
