A 360 degree, rotating vehicle promotes realistic scenarios and challenging case studies which enable our students to practice vehicle extrication of patients in various positions. A fully functioning ambulance affords students the opportunity to practice advanced life support treatment on scene or during transport in a simulated environment. Within a simulated emergency room setting, students practice assessments and skills utilizing computer-generated patient scenarios in conjunction with simulated mannequin training and state-of-the-art equipment. Paramedic students practice their skills in the Klump Academic Center, in a laboratory outfitted with a fully functioning ambulance. Paramedic students practice vehicle extrication techniques in a 360-degree rotating vehicle. Paramedic students practice their skills in the Klump Academic Center, in a laboratory outfitted with a fully functioning ambulance. Paramedic students volunteer at the Little League World Series. Penn College student uniforms display the Paramedic Technology patch. Field rotations with regional ambulance services and experienced paramedic preceptors provide real world clinical experience.
