All vehicles parked in campus parking facilities weekdays must display a current parking permit on the rearview mirror. All parking permits remain the property of Penn College.
Students
Permits are available for purchase through the Student Portal.
Visitors
Obtain a temporary parking permit at the Penn College Police Office.
Penn College Parking Permits DO NOT authorize parking at ANY non-College facility, including on-street parking where "Permit Required" signs are posted. These areas require a private parking permit.
Individuals with a disability or disabled veteran parking placard AND a current Penn College parking permit are permitted to park in spaces designated for persons with disabilities. If all accessible parking spaces in a lot are taken, parking is allowed in the next closest visitor, student, or non-reserved employee space provided their disability or disabled veteran parking placard or license plate is displayed. Visitors to campus are not required to have a Penn College parking permit.
Motorcycles must display a current Penn College sticker. Special areas are set aside for motorcycle parking in the following lots:
All vehicles parked in campus parking facilities weekdays must display a current parking permit on the rearview mirror. Overnight parking is not permitted except in residence lots or for College-sanctioned trips. Reserved spaces, resident spaces, and handicapped spaces are enforced 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
Vehicles illegally parked may be immobilized or towed. The fine must be paid before the immobilizing device will be removed.
About parking violations/fines — Several violations may be indicated on a parking ticket. The fines are cumulative. An additional parking ticket may be issued for each 24-hour period that a vehicle remains illegally parked. Illegally parked vehicles may be immobilized or towed at the owner's expense.
If a vehicle breaks down and has to remain parked on campus overnight, it is the owner's responsibility to notify the Penn College Police Department.
Parking fines must be paid at: Penn College Parking Ticket Payment. Fines cannot be paid in the office.
Appeals must be submitted within 10 days of the violation. Appeal forms are available in the Police Office.
Continued violations of these regulations will result in referral to the dean of students. The loss of parking privileges and other disciplinary sanctions may result. If you have outstanding fines, you will not receive grades, transcripts, or diplomas.
Disciplinary action may result if tickets are not paid.
Performing vehicle maintenance (e.g., oil changes, engine work, body work, transmission repair, etc.) on College property is strictly prohibited. Vehicle may be towed for a violation at the owner's expense. Exceptions to this regulation include vehicle maintenance conducted during an instructional class and emergency situations such as use of jumper cables or flat tire repair.
