Fifty-two students successfully completed the Certified SolidWorks Associate exam and one student earned Autodesk Inventor Professional certification.

Pennsylvania College of Technology established an agreement that affords graduates of Jamestown Community College the opportunity to enroll at Penn College at the current Pennsylvania in-state rates. Graduates must have earned an associate degree from Jamestown Community College to qualify.

Students earning associate degrees in several majors at Delaware Technical Community College will benefit from recently signed agreements that provide an avenue to a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology. The agreements provide students from four Delaware Tech majors with a streamlined transition to junior-level standing in bachelor-degree majors, without duplicating courses.

Eight first-place winners from Pennsylvania College of Technology have advanced to the 51st annual National SkillsUSA Conference, to be held from June 22-26 in Kentucky. Five other students from the college finished in the top four places in a variety of categories during the SkillsUSA Pennsylvania Leadership and Skills Conference held April 8-10 in Hershey.

A Pennsylvania College of Technology faculty member presented a paper and received multiple honors at the recent Autodesk University Conference in Las Vegas. J.D. Mather, assistant professor of engineering design technology, presented “Finite Element Analysis for the Casual User in Inventor.” Autodesk Inventor is 3-D parametric design software used for product and mechanical design.
