Penn College's Lumley Aviation Center at the Williamsport Regional Airport offers a wide-open venue for exploration, ideal for People & Culture's Employee Engagement Series.

Blue skies were in the forecast for the eighth and final Employee Engagement Series session of the 2023-24 academic year, held recently at Penn College’s Lumley Aviation Center. With center staff and faculty serving as the “flight crew,” participating employees were engaged in a range of experiences for their professional development outing.

Coordinated by Kimberly S. Cordrey, aviation center assistant, college employees toured the facility, participated in a trivia game, enjoyed hands-on experiences with the planes and built their own model airplane. (Hands-on learning isn’t just for Penn College students!) Aviation faculty assisting were Michael R. Robison, Matthew D. Krepps, Michael Damiani and Korey T. Keyser.

This concludes the second successful year of the Engagement Series, an initiative of the Office of People & Culture.
