During a Thanksgiving holiday week that saw just two Tuesday basketball games, Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s and women’s teams split in their last outings before United East Conference play begins this week, while postseason honors went to five soccer, cross-country and women’s volleyball athletes.

Beyond the arenas of play and in the spirit of the season, the athletic department noted that, since August, Wildcats student-athletes combined for over 1,500 community service hours, dedicating their extra time to participate in a wide array of projects to give back.

MEN’S BASKETBALL
At home with Mount Aloysius College, Penn College built a 49-38 halftime lead and went on for a 102-84 victory, avenging last year’s 101-72 loss to the Mounties. Livingston Cross, of Union, New Jersey, led the Wildcats with 28 points, while Gavin Barrett, of Roselle, New Jersey, added 19 points and Max Jackowsky, of Garnet Valley, scored 16 points. Barrett also had seven rebounds and seven assists.
