Veterans' Fraternity Chapter Wins Top National Honors

Omega Delta Sigma's national awards are celebrated by member John A. Gondy (left), of Glenmoore, a residential construction technology and management: architectural technology concentration student, and chapter President Efrem K. Foster, an applied management major from Williamsport.The Penn College Chapter of Omega Delta Sigma, the national veterans fraternity, received a pair of impressive awards during the organization's convention in Denver earlier this summer. Competing with 14 other chapters from across the country, the college received the Outstanding Chapter Award "because of its remarkable growth over the past two years, college involvement and academic excellence," member Gina M. Peluzzo said. "Additionally, our chapter president, Efrem Foster, won best president for his valued leadership. He helped create policies, procedures and traditions that will help us remain a force for our chapter at Penn College to thrive."
