Penn College Course to Help Prepare Students for SAT
The course will help students better prepare for success on the SAT through live instruction, self-paced learning and individual interaction with a professional instructor. The focus will be on math, English and reading, with an optional writing session available for those who wish to practice their college-ready skills and review with a Penn College faculty member.
Scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on seven consecutive Saturdays from Oct. 7 through Nov. 18 – ending in advance of the Dec. 2 testing date – the course will provide 12 hours of math preparation (Oct. 14 and 21, and Nov. 4 and 18) and nine hours devoted to English and reading (Oct. 7 and 28, and Nov. 11). The optional writing segment will be held from noon to 1 p.m. following English and reading.
The cost is $279 for math, English and reading; the three hours of writing instruction carry an additional $49 fee.
