Math Professor Co-Authors Paper Published in International Journal

William Ma, professor of mathematics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, jointly authored a paper that was published recently in an international mathematics journal, Computational Methods and Function Theory.

The paper, titled “Bounded Schwarzian and Two-Point Distortion,” was co-authored with two other mathematicians: Diego Mejia, of Universidad Nacional, Colombia, and C. David Minda, of the University of Cincinnati.



William MaComputational Methods and Function Theory, with editorial offices at the University of Würzburg in Germany, is an international mathematics journal that publishes carefully selected original research papers in complex analysis and on applications or computational methods related to complex analysis.

Ma holds a doctorate and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwest University. He has published more than 50 research papers and given more than 20 invited presentations at international and national conferences.
