Penn College Offers Noncredit Workplace Classes in Wellsboro
The classes are taught by qualified instructors at a comfortable pace for all levels of adult learners. They are held in a relaxed classroom environment, allowing participants to learn, experiment and ask questions. Bring your team members for the most benefit.
Motivating Yourself and Others in the Workplace will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 22. This class helps participants discover ways to become more motivated and productive in the workplace.
Resolving Conflict in the Workplace, which focuses on the causes of conflict and ways to reduce them, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 29. Participants discover solutions that will positively impact their respective organizations.
Inspiring Innovative Ideas in the Workplace will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 5. This is an active, hands-on workshop that helps focus problem-solving skills on developing innovative ideas that will make the workplace more effective.
Building Effective Teams in the Workplace, aimed at helping participants create stronger working relationships by building on team strengths and encouraging continuous improvement, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 12 and 19.
Tips for Managing a Remote Team will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on March 5. This class was developed for those individuals who need to engage employees who work remotely. Participants can discover strategies to increase productivity and keep employees focused while working in a location other than the regular work site, as well as learn the positives of a remote workforce and discover methods of communication to keep employees engaged.
Microsoft Excel Level I will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 2. It is designed for those wanting to learn how to create and manage worksheets, perform calculations, and manage and print workbooks.
Microsoft Excel Level II will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 23. It is for those desiring more advanced skill sets necessary for calculating data using functions and formulas, sorting and filtering data using PivotTables for analyzing data, and customizing workbooks.
