'Future' Programmers, Problem-Solvers Revel in College's Digital Camp

The young men and women, entering grades 10 to 12 this fall, learned about careers in gaming, web and interactive media; gained experience in developing games and mobile applications; met faculty/staff and college students, and immersed themselves in the participatory environment represented by the college's "degrees that work."

In addition to workshops in the School of Business and Computer Technologies' well-equipped labs, the students got a taste of campus housing in an overnight stay at Dauphin Hall and held a spirited dodgeball tournament in the Field House before rounding out their experience with a pizza party and video games in The Madigan Library. Partnering with the college this year were MoJo Active Inc., Watsontown, and the 2013 Wildcat Comic Con.
