Career Fair Scores 'March Madness' Victory Against Old Man Winter, 4-0

    A late-season snowstorm briefly clouded the logistics, but the weather had no lasting effect on the week's Career Fair objective: connect as many Penn College students as possible with the employers who can provide mutually beneficial job opportunities. At four sites over three days, plowing through the challenges of a compromised schedule, Career Services made it happen. Soon-to-be graduates – dressed for success, fortified with confidence and laden with resumes – traversed the various venues, sizing up corporate representatives (a respectable cohort of Penn College alumni among them) and vice versa. The college's reputation for providing employers with qualified and reliable workers also found its way into the pages of the Centre Daily Times this week: A Career Fair exhibitor at The Pennsylvania State University reported the success her company has had with interns from Penn College's on-site power generation major.
