Logan A. Gresock, a construction management major from Copley, Ohio, has been chosen as the latest Student of the Month by the Student Government Association at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Gresock, a part-time Student Activities assistant at the Bush Campus Center Information Desk, is a member and captain of the Wildcat wrestling team and serves as president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
“Logan is a terrific student and a pleasure to work with," his nominator wrote. "He is truly dedicated to his major and the Penn College wrestling program. His smile, enthusiasm, energy and caring nature are contagious to all who know and interact with him."
Among his other accomplishments, Gresock coordinated two dodgeball games to benefit Hope Enterprises Inc., a local organization that provides services to people with developmental disabilities. Last spring, he was a member of Team Awesome, chosen as the "most spirited" among participants in the Walk-It-Out fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
He also served a summer internship with Turner Construction, his nominator noted, "A terrific opportunity to work within his major."
The Student of the Month is selected numerous times each academic year based on commitment, service, role-model behavior, academics, leadership and campus involvement. Nominations from faculty/staff and other students are strongly encouraged.
