Assistant Dean of Industrial, Engineering Technologies Named

William E. Mack has been appointed assistant dean of industrial and engineering technologies at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Mack, who began his duties Feb. 2, comes to Penn College from Harrisburg Area Community College, where he most recently served as professor and coordinator for the Community Center for Technology and the Arts.
His career also includes service in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, as an engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corp. and as an adjunct faculty member at Penn State Harrisburg and HACC.
He brings experience in teaching, curriculum development, faculty recruitment and evaluation, budget development and management, acquisition of equipment, renovation and building construction, academic advising, governance, dual enrollment, and distance education. Mack holds a Master of Engineering Science/Digital Systems from Loyola College, Baltimore. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical design engineering technology from Penn State Harrisburg.
