North Campus Offers Spring Classes for Personal Enrichment

Come to Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus this spring and have fun learning something new. Bring a friend and enjoy exploring your genealogy, composing poetry, or making a fresh spring floral arrangement for your home or a scrapbook for a Mother's Day gift. "Composing Poetry" will focus on different forms of poetry and will help participants to discover their inner poet. This class will be offered from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, March 20 through April 24; the fee is $49.

"Spring Floral Arrangements" will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24. Bring lunch and a pair of scissors, and leave with arrangements for your home or office. The cost for this class is $65 and includes all supplies.

Are you always looking for an extra-special gift for your mother on Mother's Day? Let us help! Pack a lunch and two dozen of your favorite photographs, and we'll put together a memorable scrapbook just for her. Bring a pair of scissors and memorabilia that may accent your photographs. The cost for the class which will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28 is $50 and includes the album and all supplies.

"Explore Your Genealogy" is an informative class for those interested in discovering more about their ancestors. Begin a new pastime and learn how you can find the information needed to formulate stories to pass on to the next generation. This class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, May 1 and 8; the cost is $69.
