Economics Professor Presents Paper at Conference
Abdul B. Pathan, professor of economics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently presented a paper at the 18th annual conference on "Teaching Economics, Instruction and Classroom Based Research."
Pathan presented his paper, "Make Economics Interesting to Students by Using Real-Life Examples," to about 75 participants, all faculty members from colleges and universities around the country.
The conference was held Feb. 15-17 at Robert Morris University, hosted by the university's School of Business in conjunction with McGraw Hill/Irwin Publishing.
Pathan holds a doctorate from the University of Houston and master's degrees from Williams College in Massachusetts and Dhaka University in Bangladesh. He has taught at Penn College since 1987.
