Motter shows visitors how to lay a taut line for wall construction Spreading mortar for another course of block Penn College construction students became teachers for the day, giving architectural students from The Pennsylvania State University a hands-on tutorial in the School of Construction and Design Technologies' masonry lab. Equipped with the requisite safety glasses and armed with trowels, more than 50 Penn State students moved between stations learning a variety of masonry tips, from brick to flagstone to block. Richard R. Motter and Glenn R. Luse, instructors of building construction, also shared their expertise with the guests from University Park.
