Student in Physician Assistant Program Honored

Christopher O. Juden, a student in the Physician Assistant program at Pennsylvania College of Technology, has been appointed Northeast Regional Communications Representative for the Student Association of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Juden, of South Williamsport, will attend a leadership-development program sponsored by a pharmaceutical company in conjunction with an officers' workshop in Washington, D.C. He also will attend the AAPA's national conference in Anaheim, Calif., on May 26-31.

Juden is a senior in the bachelor-of-science Physician Assistant major.

"We will watch for Chris to continue his leadership activities for future physician assistants and to make Penn College proud," said Deborah A. Wilson, dean of the School of Health Sciences at the College.

The American Academy of Physician Assistants is a national organization based in Alexandria, Va., that represents physician assistants in all specialties and employment settings. Its membership includes physician-assistant students and supporters of the profession.
