Spring '99 CoffeeHouse Series, at The CoffeeHouse, Bush Campus Center, Pennsylvania College of Technology ... no cover charge ... open to the public:

Tuesday, Feb. 9, 8 p.m., K.J. James, blues; Experience the roots of pop music with an original Bluesman. With his imaginative guitar rhythms and soulful voice, K.J. James creates music you can feel in your toes.

Monday, March 1, 8 p.m., Beth Wood, alternative folk rock; Wood is considered a promising voice on the folk scene. Her talent has brought her gigs opening for Shawn Colvin, Pierce Pettis and a featured song on Fox's "Party of Five."

Tuesday, March 30, 8 p.m., Karen Goldberg, music from Lilith Fair; Karen will perform contemporary and original music by the women of Lilith Fair, including songs written by herself, Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Indigo Girls, Natalie Merchant, Tori Amos, Paula Cole and others.

Tuesday, April 27, 8 p.m., Tony Jarvis, funk blues, folkand rock; Tony's unique blend of music is a soulful, intelligent, sensitive, inspirational sound he calls "Afro-Cuban influenced, gospel-tinged acoustic soul music."
