ShaleTEC
Shale Training & Education Center (ShaleTEC) is a collaboration between Pennsylvania College of Technology and Penn State Extension established to serve as a national and international resource for workforce, training, educational, and research needs of the community and energy industry.

Energy Technology Education Center
The training center supports local emergency responders by providing hands-on instruction that enables them to understand and implement effective emergency-response. In addition, the site is used for industry training and training of potential new hires and incumbent workers through classes that Penn College provides for gas and other industry occupations.
