Penn College Pre-College Program

Students may earn additional scholarships by attending the same program more than once or by attending multiple programs.  Students can earn a maximum of $2000 annually in scholarships attending Penn College Pre-College Program.  All scholarships are renewable for up to four years for a bachelor-degree student and two years for an associate-degree student.  One half will be credited to your fall semester tuition account.  To receive the second half of the award (2nd semester), you must remain in good academic standing with the College and remain a full-time student.

  • Enrolled in any major
  • Complete a Penn College Pre-College Program confirmation form online
  • Students must be entering grades 9-12 at the time of camp participation to be eligible
  • Must enroll at Penn College fall semester following high school graduation
  • Must file a FAFSA
  • Enrolled full-time
  • Be a first-year student

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Penn College Pre-College Summer Program Scholarship, students must:

  • Complete one or more Pre-College Summer Programs the summer(s) before entering grades 9-12
  • Enroll at Penn College the fall after graduating from high school
  • Complete the scholarship confirmation form by June 1 of their senior year of high school
  • Submit the Penn College Scholarship Application
  • File a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

This scholarship will be counted as "Last Money In" for financial aid purposes. Penn College employee dependents are not eligible for this award.

Renewability

The Penn College Pre-College Summer Program Scholarship is renewable for two years for an associate-degree seeking student and four years for a bachelor-degree seeking student. Recipients must:

  • Be enrolled full-time
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher

Provided you meet the criteria above, half of the scholarship value will be applied to your fall semester bill. The second half will be applied to your spring semester bill.

In recognition of your participation and completion of this program, Pennsylvania College of Technology would like to award you with a Penn College Pre-College Summer Program Scholarship to continue your education at Penn College. To receive this scholarship, please read the guidelines above and submit the form.
