Q&A with Abdullah
What is your dream job?
My field is plastics engineering, so I would like to start with processing engineering, but–in time–move on to a higher position.
What is your favorite class?
There are a lot. In my major, I like extrusion because my professor, Kirk Cantor, is wonderful; he’s the best. In my general classes, I like psychology. I have it now. It’s interesting. It’s something new.
What do you love about Penn College?
First of all, it’s a good school for my major–one of the best for plastics engineering. And the town. Williamsport is a quiet city. It’s good for you to go to school; it’s good for you to study.
How long have you been at Penn College?
I’ve been here two and a half years. I like the city. I like the school. I like the town. It’s been my town, my city. I like the weather, people, school, my friends who I met here, my classmates, my roommates–everything. I am trying to find a job to stay here, but if I don’t, I will go back home, and I am going to miss all of these.
How have you adjusted to the weather?
Back home it never snows, but here, it’s the first time I saw it snowing. That was two years ago, and it’s amazing. I like it here. I like when it’s snowing.
Have you tried skiing?
I did. I’m not good at it, but I went just for fun. I fell down a lot, but it was a good time.
