The Practical Nursing Program at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro has been accepted as a candidate for accreditation by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. By seeking NLNAC accreditation, the program will undergo a rigorous self-examination and re-evaluation process for the purpose of improving educational quality.

The TRIO Student Support Services Program at Pennsylvania College of Technology − which helps low-income or first-generation students and those with disabilities stay in college and earn degrees − has been funded 100 percent for 2007-08 by a $230,969 grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
