The next session of "Project Choice" a free program at Pennsylvania College of Technology that provides assistance for adults considering a career change will begin June 21. Offered by the Counseling, Career and Disability Services Office at Penn College, Project Choice provides comprehensive career exploration for anyone wishing to forge a new career path.
The Inter-Industry Conference on Auto-Collision Repair held an Instructor Qualification Workshop in Pennsylvania College of Technology' s collision repair department this past weekend. Training was conducted by Mike Schaffer of Charleston , W.Va. , an estimating-team manager with State Farm Insurance for the past seven years and an I-CAR instructor for eight. Training began with a 6-9-p.m.
The Central Pennsylvania chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers awarded cash prizes to three Pennsylvania College of Technology students, following a Student Project Showcase competition at the college. Seven students in the electronics engineering technology bachelor-degree major were chosen to present their senior projects during the competition.

A student from the Lewisburg Area School District is the fourth recipient of a scholarship established at Pennsylvania College of Technology to honor the memory of the late wife of state Sen. Roger A. Madigan, a member of the college's board of directors. Steven A. Romano, a senior at Lewisburg Area High School, was selected to receive the Peggy Madigan Memorial Leadership Scholarship for 2005.
Pennsylvania College of Technology's Alumni Relations Office will host alumni of one of the college's predecessors, Williamsport Technical Institute, at the fifth annual W.T.I. reunion on June 17. "This reunion gets bigger every year as we locate more and more of our 'lost' W.T.I. alumni," said Barbara A. Danko, director of alumni relations at Penn College.
