Students at Pennsylvania College of Technology will auction their works to benefit Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity during the School of Hospitality's annual Food Show and Chocolate House Auction on Dec. 3.

A lunchtime artist's talk and an evening reception Thursday officially opened " Objects of Mourning ," an exhibit by artist Renee Zettle-Sterling that will be featured in The Gallery at Penn College through Dec. 14. The gallery, on the third floor of Madigan Library, is open 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's Children's Learning Center received continued funding to help provide child care access to its students as part of a four-year grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

Seniors Russell Blankenship, Tamara Pavlov and Ashley Hetrick were honored during halftime of Thursday's women's basketball home opener as graduating members of the Penn College cross-country team.
