A Penn College student was killed in an automobile accident early Saturday. Tommy E. Welsh Jr., 20, of East Berlin, died from injuries suffered in a one-car accident about 3 a.m. on Big Mount Road in Jackson Township, York County. He was a Landscape/Nursery Technology student in the School of Natural Resources Management and resided in off-campus housing.

The Penn College Golf Team began this year's season whereit left off with a win. Shaun McQuay, a Warrior Run graduate, was the medalist in Thursday's tournament at Green Pond Golf Course in Bethlehem. Penn College shot 306 to finish in first place over Luzerne Community College at 324.

Chef Judy Shimp and her culinary students invite you to join them Sundays and Mondays this semester for breakfast and brunch at Le Jeune Chef Restaurant on Penn College's Main Campus. A breakfast menu will be served from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and the brunch buffet will be open from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Reservations are suggested due to limited seating; takeout orders are available.
