The Student Activities Office, Penn College Legal Society and Madigan Library partnered to celebrate Constitution Day with several displays and activities this week. Students were encouraged to register to vote, attend a lecture on "Music Downloading and Piracy" and participate in a trivia contest. Among the activities:

Friends and co-workers of a heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician in York County who died in 2004 have established a scholarship in his memory at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Penn College's "Constitution Day" observance continued Wednesday evening with a lecture, "Music Piracy and Downloading: Both Sides of the Debate," by Scott E. Cunningham in the ACC Auditorium.

Laura A. Luttrell, a dental hygiene major from Elizabethtown, has been chosen by Pennsylvania College of Technology's Student Government Association as "Student of the Month" for September. Among her extracurricular activities, this month's honoree is vice president of The Student American Dental Hygienists' Association and participates in SGA.

Carrying too much weight or improperly wearing backpacks can cause neck, back and shoulder pain and compromise posture and breathing.
