The Rose Street/College West team defeated The Village/Campus View 13-0 in Sunday night's Powder Puff Football game on the soccer field. "Both teams were fired up and ready to play," said Jeremy Bottorf, intramural/Fitness Center assistant. After student Julie Schweitzer sang the national anthem, the ball was kicked off and Rose Street jumped to an early 7-0 lead.

The American Red Cross was "extremely happy" about the turnout for Wednesday's Bloodmobile at the Bush Campus Center, where a total of 160 individuals registered to give blood and 147 pints were collected achieving the goal of 130. There were 58 first-time donors, and every pint collected goes to saving another life.

EarthSmart, the environment and biology club, conducted a semiannual litter pickup of its assigned 2-mile portion of Northway Road on Tuesday. The Remembrance Garden, at the east side of the Carl Building Technologies Center, has been completed by students from Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Construction and Design Technologies and will officially open Sunday. The area was designed by architecture technology students and constructed by students in all of the concrete classes. Those classes instructed by Daniel L.
