"Saturday Night Live" co-star Kenan Thompson will perform at the Community Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, a one-night-only appearance sponsored by Pennsylvania College of Technology's Student Activities Office and the Arts Center.

Pennsylvania College of Technology students will compete for prizes in the fourth CalJava Wedding Cake Competition, designed by a world-renowned cake decorator for students enrolled in the college's baking and pastry arts classes. Following judging, the students' three-tiered cakes will be displayed for the public 1-3 p.m. March 5 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Two technology management students spent the Fall 2008 semester at the Fachhochschule Vorarlberg in Austria, as part of Penn College's exchange program. Dustin K. Droege, of Columbia, and Travis B. Russ, of Effort, spent the semester studying business and management course work in Dornbirn.
