One of the nation's largest homebuilders is expanding its partnership with Pennsylvania's premier technical college, Pennsylvania College of Technology. Debra M. Miller, director of corporate relations at Penn College, said Dallas-based Centex Homes recently provided the college with a gift of $25,000.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, for Michael J. Dougher, 50, who passed away Oct. 27 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dougher was a recent graduate of the aviation maintenance technician program. The service will be heldin the East Main Street United Methodist Church, 507 E. Main St., Lock Haven.

Students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Occupational Therapy Assistant Club, along with faculty in the college's occupational therapy assistant major, gave of their time recently to help build a home in Avis. The group volunteered their efforts for a Habitat for Humanity project that will benefit an alumna of the occupational therapy assistant program.
