Pennsylvania College of Technology will present "Distinguished Alumnus" and "Alumni Achievement" awards at commencement ceremonies May 15 at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport. Jeffrey L. Erdly, president and co-founder of Masonry Preservation Services Inc., a specialty building-facade repair contractor in Berwick, has been selected as the College's Distinguished Alumnus for 2004.

An introduction to Reiki, a relaxing and healing form of touch therapy, will be offered May 22 at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro. The one-day noncredit class, to be presented from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will address relaxation and stress- and pain-reduction techniques.

A May 7 program entitled "The Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant Accident The First Two Hours" will be the fourth in a series of faculty forums to be presented at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library. Billy Ray Brown, winner of three PGA tour events and currently an on-course golf reporter for ABC Sports, will be the featured pro at the 18th Annual Golf Classic hosted by the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation on May 10 at the Williamsport Country Club. The annual fund-raising event for sponsors supports the Scholarship Aid Program for Penn College students.
